What is moissanite?
Moissanite is a gemstone originally discovered in a meteorite crater. Today it is created in a lab under controlled conditions. It is not a diamond simulant — it is its own gemstone, with a higher refractive index than diamond. In simple terms: it sparkles more.
How does it compare to diamond?
Moissanite scores 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale. Diamond is 10. In daily wear, the difference is negligible. Visually, moissanite produces more fire and brilliance than diamond. The main difference is price — moissanite costs a fraction of what a comparable diamond would.
Can people tell the difference?
Not with the naked eye. Not reliably, even with tools. Moissanite and diamond have very similar optical properties. The sparkle, the clarity, the weight — they are remarkably close.
Is moissanite ethical?
Yes. All Veyelle moissanite is lab-created, meaning no mining, no environmental destruction, no conflict sourcing. It is one of the most responsibly produced gemstones available.
What does DEF colorless mean?
All Veyelle stones are graded DEF on the color scale — the top three grades, equivalent to colorless. This means the stone appears completely clear and bright white, with no yellow or grey tint.

What metal is used?
All pieces are made with 925 sterling silver — a durable, high-quality base metal — finished in either white gold plating or 18K yellow gold plating.
Is it solid gold?
No. Our pieces are sterling silver with gold plating. This keeps them accessible without compromising the look or feel. With proper care, the plating lasts for years.
How do I care for my jewelry?
See our full Care Guide. The short version: keep it dry, away from perfume, and store it in the provided pouch when not wearing.
Do you offer a warranty?
We stand behind our pieces. If you experience a manufacturing defect within 6 months of purchase, contact us and we will repair or replace the item.

How long does shipping take?
Processing takes 2–5 business days. Delivery takes an additional 5–8 business days. Total estimated time: 7–12 business days from order date.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Orders can be changed or cancelled within 12 hours of purchase. Email us at hello@veyelle.com as soon as possible.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. International shipping is coming soon.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage. We will replace the item at no cost.
